First ever blog!
So... my first ever blog. If I'm completely honest blogging isn't really my cup of tea and makes me quite nervous. I tend to keep my cards close to my chest and worry what people think of me far too much, so the thought of posting my thoughts and feelings on the world wide web is way out of my comfort zone. However for this reason I think it might actually be the best thing for me!
I attended the Skype induction call with Adesola, Helen and other new BAPP students on Friday and my nervous butterflies soon became excited ones (mostly). I love that we are all in very different places - geographically and career-wise - and think it will be so interesting talking and working alongside each other during our BAPP journeys. Armed with my matching butterfly notepad and pen (butterflies seem to have become a theme in this post) I jotted down some notes about what to expect and gave myself a to-do list. I can't yet access Unihub to register for Module 1 but I actually found myself quite excited to begin blogging and tick something off of my list.
So, having taken an hour to write a little over 200 words, I've finally written my first blog post. I'm now looking forward to not only writing more, but also looking back over my posts in the coming months and hopefully seeing how I've learned about and developed my professional practice and, with that, my confidence too. Let the BAPP begin!
